I’m super excited to share this blog with you all because it’s my first vegan shoe haul for Summer! Video available down below. I chose earthy colors and basic styles so they can be worn with almost any style of clothing. Whether it is with a pair of jeans or a slip on dress.
I’ve always been passionate (or obsessed) with shoes. I remember when I was younger my shoe collection reached up to 250 pairs of shoes! (I know) but with time I started to cut down by a whole lot.
As time went by and life changed I started to see what I really needed and used the most. I maybe own about 20 pairs of shoes now, so not too bad.
This blog is super special to me, because besides being about shoes these are my first vegan shoes. This is the first time I had to research and look carefully to make sure they were vegan. I had a purpose. There isn’t much information about vegan shoes or where to get them out there that’s why I thought it was important to make this blog and share with you all what I found.
If you didn’t see my first YouTube video, I mentioned how I started by eating plant-based. Then as time went on I started to become more passionate about preventing animal cruelty. I didn’t realize how other aspects of my life were still supporting the killing of animals. Things like shoes, bags, clothes, makeup and other accessories. I felt bad and guilty so I knew it was time to change. I can’t do anything about the past but I can do a lot moving forward. That’s why I started my YouTube channel and this blog, to share my journey with you in finding great things that are vegan and cruelty-free.
No animals were harmed or killed in the making of these shoes, so let’s begin!
Lulus
This is my first time shopping from their site and I can honestly say I’m impressed with their website and how easy it is to navigate and find vegan shoes. They have a category under their “Shoes” menu that calls out for “Vegan Shoes” even further a subcategory with different kinds of vegan shoes styles such as sandals, heels, boots, etc. I highly recommend you check them out here. Another positive experience with them was that I needed to return a pair of shoes that didn’t fit, it was super easy to return them and either get a refund or exchange.
Santana Camel Suede Slide Sandals ($22)
These sandals are super soft, I love the versatility of this shoe which can be casually worn with a pair of shorts or a nice flowy summer dress.
Kaylie Black Square Toe High Heel Sandals ($29)
I was looking for the perfect summer black heel (not too high) for my slip-on dress and I finally found it, not only are they cute but very comfortable and definitely sexy!
Cassidy Tan Pumps ($29)
The color on these pumps are everything! You can wear them with shorts, linen pants, dresses, or mini skirts. The heel height is perfect for an office environment or on date night.
Target
I’m a huge fan of Target so I had to see if they had vegan shoes and they did! These were the first vegan sandals I found. I had purchased these sandals a while back, even before last year’s Christmas. I was torn between the black or this color but once I received them I knew they were the perfect color for me for the summer.
Women’s Kerryl Slide Sandals – Universal Thread™ in Cognac ($27.99)
These sandals were made for walking! These easily mold to your feet, are very supportive, and super comfortable. I was impressed with the faux leather on these sandals, they have an expensive look to them.
Sanuk
This brand makes me happy all around. Sanuk stands for happiness, good vibes and passing it on. Their style is targeted to people who love comfort, beach lovers, and surfers. Not only do they have a large selection of vegan shoes but their website is incredibly easy to navigate. Definitely recommend it! Check them out here.
YOGA SLING 2 PRINTS in Birch Palm print ($35)
I just love the way these feel on my feet, they feel like a nice hug on them. The print is just beautiful and perfect for summer. They also feel so light on my feet, perfect for the beach!
Avre
Avre is a company from California that focuses on sustainability and empowering women. They use recycled plastic bottles to make shoes. Their process is amazing, check them out over here. What I love about them is that not only are they vegan friendly and cruelty-free but they focus on reducing their carbon footprint anyway they can. They are a little on the pricier side but they are super cute and comfortable compared to other vegan shoes that are much more expensive but not as appealing as these.
Limitless Taupe and White ($95)
These are my favorite casual shoes. I put them on my feet and they are super comfortable and chic. These to me scream “boardwalk”, “shore”, “pier”, “carnival” wear them with a pair of shorts for a casual look!
Swift Icon Jet Black and Bright White ($125)
I’ve been looking for a pair of athletic shoes for a while. It has been hard to find since a lot of brands don’t disclose some materials or other components of the shoes. I’m so happy to have found these, they are not only comfortable but very light on the feet. I used them for jogging and working out and they are great!
